I am in the middle because It would be better in the morning because you will learn more and plus school might finish earlier than usual because the average time of schooling in a day is 5 hours. It will also not be better because people might be half a sleep and might learn nothing. Also some children might get to bed late and the average time to sleep and feel good when you wake up is around 10 hours.

I'm not sure because starting at 8:30 is quite reasonable because children don't have to get up too early or end up waking up too late. If school started later that means that children would get home later and that gives them less time in the afternoon to play and be kids. The national sleep society states that if school ended later children would be playing the same amount of time and sleeping less which is not good for overall health and wellbeing although waking up later would help with that problem.

Find actual facts to support your judgement that students do or don't learn well in the mornings.

In my opinion, I think that the time we start school is perfect due to the fact that when we get to school we have time top set up for the day and be prepared which helps kids be independent and also help them manage their time. Secondly, the time school starts is good because if we started later then school would finish later as well. Which means that kids don't have as much time as they did to do their home work and they could possibly fall behind on their work and get told off by the teacher.

This is my opinion, I think that it is fine to start early in the morning to we can get into our working mode more easier. If school starts in the afternoon then we would be way too laid back and would be too lazy to work. Everyone needs to work in the morning because if we don't everything we learn previously will be forgotten. I saw a post on the internet saying that children are way more energised in the moning than the afternoon if they do certain morning routines.

It would be better if school didn't start later in the morning because research shows that teenagers should go to be later and wake up earlier in the morning. Research in the 1990s found that later sleep and wake patterns among adolescents are biologically determined; the natural tendency for teenagers is to stay up late at night and wake up later in the morning. This is why I think that school shouldn't start late and plus I think that when we are older we might have to wake up in the morning early for work so it is good to get used to it now.

I agree because I recon that school should start that the time is to early because kids need more sleep when they are growing. National sleep foundation says that teenagers require 9.2 hours of sleep a night.

I think that school should start later because kids get a worse attitude towards school

I think school should start later in the morning because teens like to go to bed late and wake up late. The children also feel better and they will be more motivated towards school. If the children are more motivated to learn it will make them get better grades and that will reflect on the future jobs that they get. But if school started later it will have to finish later also.
